Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
 
There is so much happening now at church as we prepare for Holy Week.  I wanted to let you know some more bad news.  Rick Bell’s sister Mary passed away recently.  Her funeral will be in Southern California on the same Monday as Maryetta’s memorial service.  Maryetta’s Memorial will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday March 29.
 
Palm/Passion Sunday is tomorrow.  We’ll be celebrating the Passion for the first time on this holy day in years.  After the service we’ll also be blessing the beautiful flower shelf in the Columbarium that will be dedicated in Ann Bryson’s name.
 
The next service in Holy Week is Maundy Thursday.  Paula DeRitis is helping us to get it organized.  It is at 6:00 p.m. on April 1.  Here’s her note:
 
could you just ask that people willing to bring a salad or soup contact me at paula at deritis.net. ?   As I remember, we were going to put the kids in B1 with a sitter and ask parents to feed their children before coming or bring their dinner with them.  I can provide snacks and drinks for the children.  What about beverages for the adults? Do we need to think about plates, cups, and cutlery?

 
The Good Friday service is at noon on April 2.
Easter Vigil at 7:00 p.m. on April 3
Easter Sunday services at the usual times.
 
I think we still need a lot of candy for all those hunting eggs.
