Dear Friends,
What an amazing storm we are having outside. I’ve already gone through two changes of clothes (before leaving the bicycle behind and switching to the car). It is such a relief that we redid the church roof last winter. This year it is so much easier to enjoy the rain.
Bishop Marc Andrus will be joining us for church on Sunday at both the 9:00 a.m. Forum and for the 10:00 a.m. service. It will be good to hear his perspective on the Episcopal Church and what is happening in the world beyond the borders of our town.
Remember Daylight Savings Time is this week!
This Sunday will also be our last Evensong of the season. The service starts at 4:00 p.m. The choir has blessed us with some extraordinary evenings this winter. What a great gift they are to all of us! Keep Dick and this wonderful group of dedicated artists in your prayers today.
We’ll be starting yoga again Tuesday morning (March 16) from 9:15 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. and going through mid-June. After conversation about how to move forward we’ve decided to return to an anusara yoga practice (that is similar to what we did with Rebecca Snowball).
Our new teacher is Amy Raichert. I’ve included her biography below. Some of you may remember her from the times she was our substitute teacher. She is a very gifted instructor.
So far we have not made arrangements for childcare. If there is enough response however we can figure out a way to provide this.
We’ll be asking for a $10 donation but are happy to see anyone join us regardless of their ability to pay. Yoga is a way to do something to improve your life physically, spiritually and emotionally.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me with questions.
Warmly,
Malcolm
