Dear Friends,

Many of you may have received an upsetting email that seemed to be from Elisa Merrifield yesterday which I include below.  In case you didn't realize, she is not in trouble and my lunch with her yesterday proves she's not in Wales.

In the other email below you will see that she will continue to use her email address and thinks that she has it back under control.

Dear Friends-

All is well here at the Merrifield home. I am definitely not in Wales! My account was hijacked today, all of my contacts wiped and any one I ever sent an email to was sent an email requesting money. I am sure you received it. The issue seems to be resolved. 

I will continue to use this account for the time being and please let me know if you get anything else suspicious. 

PS - Just so you learn from my mistake, NEVER under any circumstances send your password via email to anyone!!
