Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

I wanted to share with you a note that I sent to our Ventana families  
this morning so that you will have the information that you need to  
know in order to invite your friends and neighbors to church on  
Sunday.  Christ Church is such a great blessing and this is a way  
that you can share that gift with others.

Dear Friends,

I wanted to invite you to church on Sunday.  At 10:00 a.m. we will be  
having a very simplified service that is designed especially for  
children to celebrate All Saint’s Day.  The prayers are simple, the  
children’s choir will be singing, (I’ll tell a story if I can think  
of a good one before then), everything will be done with young  
children in mind.  If you never go to church it may be a good way to  
introduce your children to what happens on Sunday morning in churches  
around the world.

After the service we’ll enjoy our annual “Spooky Stage,” a kind of  
haunted house that the church’s teenagers put on for the littler  
kids.  The children could even wear their costumes and stretch out  
the Halloween experience a little longer.

We’ll also be celebrating the opening of the Third Place’s Resource  
center down at Ventana School after church at around 11:15 a.m.   
We’re hoping that you will have great ideas about how to make this  
place a kind of home away from home for you and your friends.

Whether we see you on Sunday or not, I hope you have a magical  
Halloween.  The energy at Ventana School is simply electric these  
days as the kids anticipate Saturday night.  I hope you are all well.
