Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

I'm still so high in spirit after Pentecost.  We had a delightful day  
together from our worship through to the youth group sponsored picnic  
and then to Faure's Requiem and a wonderful afternoon tea hosted by  
Home Ministry.  It was a magnificent way to celebrate the birthday of  
the church.

Also tomorrow night (Wednesday June 3) at 7:00 p.m. in Christ Church  
Portola Valley  we'll be celebrating the 70th anniversary of Dick  
Millard's ordination.  There will be a concert and fellowship to  
honor Dick's wonderful gifts to the church.

As a result of this we'll be having our next summer BBQ on Thursday  
night at 5:30 p.m. here at church.  Please join us for a beautiful  
evening on the lower lawn.

Finally, I wanted to remind you that the Harvard Chamber Choir will  
be singing at our 10:00 a.m. service this Sunday (June 7).  They'll  
also give a short concert immediately afterwards in the parish hall.   
We're so blessed to have them and I'm sure this will be a very  
memorable Trinity Sunday.

It is such a beautiful day today.  It reminds me of a place in Henry  
David Thoreau's Journal in which he writes, "I feel my creator  
blessing me!"
